This radiant specimen hails from the renowned Edong Mining District in Daye, HuBei, China—a region celebrated for its vibrant mineral formations. Sharp scalenohedral calcite crystals are adorned with a dazzling coat of iridescent chalcopyrite and flecks of golden pyrite, creating a visual symphony of metallic hues: coppery reds, peacock blues, and sunlit golds.

Geological Composition & Formation
